1 and 3 are rocky areas off the edge of the scar. These can be seen
on the Saltwick map.
Area 2 is scar covered in kelp with lots of little channels running
through it. This is meant
to be a good spot on a flooding tide. During a neap tide only a fraction
of the beach,
rocks and scar is exposed.
