The area around the wall is accessed from the beach at low water or from the cliff path (Cleveland Way) at all states of the tide, however care must be taken as the hillside is deceptively steep. It fishes onto a mixture of scar, the occasional rock and mussel beds. Getting fish in over the rocks can be problematic.
